FTX 432 - WILD ROVER
NO MORE
SONGS
FROM FERMANAGH & TYRONE
Interviewed by Sean O Boyle, some outstanding performers here
from Maggie Chambers and her sister Sarah and Jack Kelly recorded in County
Fermanagh. In County Tyrone we hear Peter Donnelly, Vincent his son, the Dungannon
cobbler Terry Devlin and Margaret Loughram. Jack Kelly, originally from Co Tyrone,
has a "Wild Rover" which is very different from the well-known version still
prevalent at social gatherings in Britain.
