FTX 424 GOOD MORNING VALENTINE
- School-children singing in Cambridgeshire
In 1956 the children at Wisbech Grammar School, were encouraged
to join a group led by Sheila Chesters, singing choral arrangements of English
Folksongs. Includes A Rosebud in June, All Jolly Fellows, Bold Fisherman,
Bold Grenadier, Brigg Fair, Died of Love, Green Bushes and The Trees
are getting high. Also in the area Peter Kennedy visited the village school
at Guilden Mordern to record playground games and the local Valentine's Day
Song, "Good morning, Valentine"
