FOLK AT FOXHOLE
Richards, Wilson & Stubbs
When the renowned public school at Foxhole was visited by three students from Dartington College of Arts accompanied by ethno-musicologist, Peter Kennedy and his recording gear, there was bound to be some folk fireworks from the trio. 1970 was their last year as students at Dartington for Sam Richards, Paul Wilson and Patricia Stubbs, calling themselves "Staverton Bridge" and after leaving college they were hopeful of keeping the trio together. However all three did go on singing and playing, in fact, some of them are still carrying on the folk traditions in the community in Devon. Other recordings included SAYDISC SDL-266 1975 and PEOPLES STAGE (C-45 Cassette) Totnes 1978.
