FTX-096 - BOSCASTLE BOW-WOW
A PUB SESSION AT "THE NAP"
Early Summer visitors to the more remote parts of Cornwall are
privileged to witness the weekly rites which have matured through the Winter
when local entertainment must be self generated, and yet governed by mutual
consent. Musical evenings in the "Nap" (Napoleon Inn) at Boscastle draw out
some remarkable characters, strangely contrasted in style with an even more
remarkable store of songs, choruses, jokes & recitations. Outstanding, for
he should be singled out, was the late CHARLIE JOSE, the leader of the pack,
contributing ten classic items to a memorable night of public house entertainment
