Master baker and fiddler (1880-1970) plays 30 local
country dances, quadrilles, mazurkas, polkas, schottisches, waltzes, highlands
and barn dances that were enjoyed in the village of Stockland, East Devon
- Fred describes some of the dances and talks about the old-time music
- recorded by Peter Kennedy in 1954 as well as at a dance in the village
hall in 1951 at which his wife played piano
