BOB AND RON COPPER
Two cousins, members of a famous Sussex singing family, when recorded by Peter
Kennedy in 1963, they were both publicans: Bob at "The Central Club" in Peacehaven
and Ron at "The Queen Victoria" in the village of Rottingdean, near Brighton.
Here are 18 unaccompanied songs introduced by Bob. He talks about the songs
and his family and their discovery by Mrs. Kate Lee, who contributed some of
the songs to the first Journal which marked the beginning of The Folk-Song Society
in 1898.
