This weekly event, recorded in 1953 was also filmed by Peter Kennedy in 1955, titled "Health to the Barley Mow", it took place every Saturday night when veteran singers would gather in "The Ship" public house at Blaxhall, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. Opening the evening's entertainment, Chairman, 'Wickets' Richardson, bangs a cribbage board on the bar counter and calls on the singers in the public bar to swill back their beer and give the company a song
