HARRY COX -3-

"Hard times and a country philosophy to see you through" are reflected in Harry's remarkable life-story and in the fifteen songs & dance-tunes, stories, toasts etc recorded by Peter Kennedy at "The Windmill", Sutton, 1953. He plays both a fiddle and a squeeze-box and talks about music in the pub & home. Born at Barton Turf, near Yarmouth, 27th March, 1885, he died, in his own cottage at Catfield on 6th May 1971, just before his 86th birthday.
