SONGS FROM HAMPSHIRE

Twenty-one songs, including some outstanding performances of ballads, occupational songs and a Crucifixion carol, recorded by Bob Copper in 1955. Traditional singer, Enos White, talks to Bob about George Fosbury and also gives a moving account of his own family life and his lifestyle. This is a companion recording to go with Bob's book, SONGS AND SOUTHERN BREEZES (published Heinemann 1973). His Sussex recordings are on FOLKTRAX FTX-427.
