Two Epic Stories told in English
Hugh Lupton has two Epic stories told in English,
one Greek & the other Anglo-Saxon, both excerpts from longer legends. Odysseus
& the Cyclops, tells of only one of the adventures, between the sacking
of Troy & the final return to Ithaca. Beowolf: has only the first
half of the epic, omitting the last confrontation, as an old man, with the
gold-greedy dragon
