Fred JORDAN (b 1922), farm labourer, who has become well-known and much respected as a club and concert performer and yet has retained his original open-air unaccompanied style, learned from local gypsies and fellow tillers of the soil. Recorded by Peter Kennedy, Diddlebury, Shropshire 1952 & at a concert in London 1962
