Stephen Baldwin (1873-1955) a railway-man from the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, plays over 30 tunes he used for local dances & Morris troupes - his father, a charcoal burner at Newent, was fiddler at Clifford Mesne and from him Cecil Sharp noted both Morris & Country dances - Emily Bishop at Bromsberrow Heath, Herefordshire, talks about the Morris & her sister, Beatrice Hills, plays the tunes on melodeon - recorded by Peter Kennedy in 1952 and Russell Wortley in 1954.
