"Music at the gate" was the title of his only appearance on Irish TV and the one he chose for the selection of music he recorded for Peter Kennedy in 1958, offering some of the songs and tunes collected on his travels through Ireland - 15 songs in English, 1 in Gaelic, 2 dandling songs, 5 tunes on the Uillean bagpipes and the title-tune on whistle
